Background :
Isobe Isobee Monogatari was initially published as a one-shot manga in Shounen Jump in the 26th and 27th issues of 2013 to fill in a slot temporarily vacated by One Piece at that time; however, due to the tremendous amount of positive feedback it received, the manga got serialized. Starting from the 11th issue of 2015, the series was placed at the end of the magazine and no longer participated in Shounen Jump's ranking system.
